We’re the Wheat Family from Monroe North Carolina. We moved here in 2022 from the suburbs, and now live in the country where our closest neighbors are cows, goats, and a corn field. We’re learning every day about living in the country and haven’t looked back.
Over the years I’ve had all kinds of ideas for what I should do with site, but nothing has ever materialized. My hope now is to create a historical look at small towns across North Carolina and South Carolina, people and events from those towns, and the history of farming in America. That’s a broad range already, and I’ll probably share other related topics over the coming months.
